Boat Ride
(almost)- Mel Miller hosted a
pre-reunion event aboard his yacht docked at Penn's Landing Pier. A delightful
pre-winter snow kept the cruise in dock, but all enjoyed the festivities and
view of the Delaware River from the luxurious surroundings. Thank you for the
treat, Captain Mel.
Main
Event- The evening was launched with
hors d'oeuvres followed by a splendid DVD of Nostalgia - music and slides -
from the 50's prepared and produced by Dr. Bob Solomon. (You ought to be
in pictures, Dr. Bob.) Dinner followed and the evening was capped
with Senator Ted Kaufman recounting the "Civility of the Senate" followed
by Dan Davis speaking on his service as Liaison Officer in the Israeli
Army and Barry Sax speaking on his work on the Memorial to the Four Chaplains
and what Central meant to him. (Central 206 alumni do get around.)
The evening wrapped with the singing of the School Song (original
version).
